Modern High End Living
The aim of this renovation was to give this grand villa a majestic quality whilst maintaining a convenient and modern aesthetic. The playful use of different textiles, and touches of gold, give this place a sense of extravagance which is customary to the Colonial style. Symmetry is contrasted with fun shapes and forms; and raw, traditional materials are contrasted by the use of chrome and glass. Playing with different layers of lighting allows for different moods, whilst indulgent shades of gold add warmth and luxury.
